My 7 Day Cruise on Norwegian Encore

The Encore is Norwegian's largest ship and part of the Breakaway+ class.
This beautiful ship is only 5 years old and has something for everyone!
I stayed in a Balcony stateroom on deck 12 mid-ship - The room was large, bright, and had plenty of storage for your personal items.

My favorite part of having a balcony room is the view!
The type of stateroom you select (inside, Oceanview, Balcony) really is each person's own preference; however, I love having a balcony room!
sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the ocean or watching as you pull into a new port. There are some beautiful sunrise and sunsets to see!

There are so many restaurants to choose from all over the ship! Italian, Mexican, Shushi, Texas BBQ, French, Steakhouse, Japanese, three main dining rooms that offer a full variety menu (Savor, Taste, Manhattan room), Local Bar & Grill that services your typical bar food, and then of course there is a huge buffet (Garden Cafe)

Deck 8 has seating all around the outside! so many comfortable chairs and recliners to just sit and relax while you enjoy the view. You can walk all the way around deck 8.

The pool deck has two pools, hot tubs, water slides, and a kids water play area.
There is also an adult area "H2O Spice - there are loungers, chairs, and beds off the back of the ship. A bar and a shaded seating area to just relax and enjoy the view.

With no shortage of entertainment, there is something for everyone: Broadway show (Choir Boys), Comedian, Magician, Wheel of Fortune game show, Bingo, Deal or No Deal, Trivia Games, Beatles Tribute Band, and so much more!
The "Choir of Men" was a Broadway style show, the dancing, singing, and comedy was terrific!! Sadly, this was the last cruise they were preforming on because their 6-month contract was up. They travel in Europe and the US, so if you have an opportunity to see this show, you will not be disappointed!

The Beatles Tribute Band was also so good! The show is in the Cavern Club each night, but one night was a big show in the theater.
Each night they sang songs from a different era.
First Night: A medley of early Beatles hits
Second Night: The band performs songs from the album Abbey Road.
Third Night: The show focuses on the songs from the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the main theater
Fourth Night: The latest songs up to the break up
This was also broadcast on the pool deck movie screen because the Cavern Club was to small for the demand of people trying to watch them each night.

Another fun activity on ship is the outside Racetrack on Deck 18
I had so much fun driving the go carts, but do be aware it can be a little rough at times. Even if accidental, you can get bumped and may hit the wall. Even so, I had a blast riding them!

The main center area in the ship is the Atrium.
There are games during the day, music in the evening, and at times movies show in the afternoon.
Lots of sofas and chairs to sit and relax, read, or just visit.
There was also a fun show with the cruise director and the pastry chef. It was a cake baking contest, SOOOO Funny!!

Overall the ship is beautiful and really does have something for everyone. If you cant find food you like, entertainment you enjoy, or just some space for relaxing you just aren't looking!
I will definitely cruise on the Encore again!
