My four days in France began by flying into the Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG)

I was staying at the Disneyland resort, so I chose to reserve the Disney Magical Shuttle from the airport to my hotel.

The shuttle runs throughout the day. You simply purchase your ticket online and once you arrive at the CDG airport, you walk to the area between Gates E and F. The bus stops are just outside the door. Show the driver your ticket and board the bus.

I stayed in two different Disney Resorts on this trip.

The first stay was at the Disney Cheyenne Hotel:

This is a value level resort - similar to the All-Star Resorts in Florida's Walt Disney World

The resort has a Toy Story theme and is set up like a town from the old west. The rooms are in different buildings with names like the Bunk House and Sheriff.

There is an actual guest laundry that has two washers and two dryers. You have to buy coins at the General Store to use them.

The Chuck Wagon Cafe is the local restaurant for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You can also head to the Saloon for a drink and snack foods like pizza and nachos.

I stayed in a standard room at the Cochise Building:

TIP: It should be noted that if you have a problem with stairs and walking, this may not be the best choice for your stay. The rooms are on two floors and there are not Lifts (elevators) in the buildings. This is a large resort and depending on what building your room is in, there may be a long walk to the reception desk, bus stop, restaurants, and General Store.

I also stayed at the Newport Bay Resort Hotel - This is a Deluxe Hotel which includes the Club Level. I stayed in the Club Level room.

The resort is beautiful with a nautical theme.

The room was large and had two queen beds, a separate storage area for luggage, the sink area is separate from the shower and toilet room. which makes it nice when there are more people trying to get ready at the same time.

Since I was in a Club level room, it included robes, slippers, and a turn down service. The turndown service left Character chocolate coins and a fun card on the bed each night.

I was so excited to see my room had a view of the walkway to the Disneyland and Disney Studios theme parks. You can also see the Disney Studios water tower to the left and the top of Sleeping Beauty's Castle to the right.

Newport Bay Club Level included a Free breakfast and a lounge to relax, read, or have a drink in the Compass Club Lounge. The Captain's Quarters Bar is next to the Club lounge to get yourself a drink and take it into the lounge for a quieter place to sit.

The Compass Club Lounge has a very nice breakfast buffet that is included for club level guests.

The walkway to Disney Village and the theme parks is just behind the hotel. It is an easy 10-minute walk to Disney Village restaurants and shopping. The Theme Park entrances are just past Disney Village.
